NLKS is a 501c3, Community Mental Health Agency and Violence Prevention Agency committed to and specializing in making a difference within the communities we serve throughout the City of Chicago and surrounding areas. Our focus is to impact lives, address the growing nature of mental health concerns and to encompass overall wellness.

Our Mission and Goal is to make sure that services are available and accessible for children, adolescents, adults and families dealing with mental and/or behavioral health challenges.
Our intervention models, strategies and prevention services are non-conventional and were implemented to empower those to become more confident, self-sufficient, self-sustaining, re-engaged, healthy (mentally, physically, and emotionally) and productive members of their communities.
